I'm so disappointed that I have to give two stars. I want to love this bakery since it's local and I've come here for baked goods before but.. they completely messed up my birthday cake in every way possible. I ordered a 3 layered cake with buttercream roses and made sure the young lady who took my order wrote everything correctly, she even showed the baker who would be doing my cake the picture of the cake I wanted. Well after getting the cake home and opening it everything was wrong. The colors of the roses were wrong and layered wrong the filling was not half and half like they said it had to be. She said two flavors were only done on the larger size because each flavor goes on half the cake, it won't be layered like it was so we bought the larger size only for it to be how they said it couldn't be. I'm most upset about the lack of cake, it looked like one cake was cut in three.. after measuring, each layer of cake was 5cm thick or less with 1 plus inches of icing slathered in there that the cake actually fell apart the next day. There was literally no cake, all icing. I was so upset. Don't order any cake here not even a simple one like I did, I felt so scammed. That poked hole was me checking to see if that actually was all icing, maybe just an off spot but no, the whole cake had that much icing in the middle. The owner offered a refund which is greatly appreciated. I will still be returning for pastries. The baker should be fired.
